  Yes!... You can get a guard card the easy way by just reading the Power to Arrest Training Manual on line and take the basic test.  But keep in mind that you will not be taking the complete 8 hours course with live instructor support and running the risk of not passing your final test with a 100% score.  Scam artist just want your money and also the easy way.

  "Then" hope that someone will hire you once they know that you have not received the complete training by a competent BSIS Certified Instructor.

  Prime1 Security Training is licensed by The State of California Department of Consumers Affairs through the BSIS (Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) to provide professional and accurate training to present and future security officers.

  As stated by a great professional instructor and friend, “Security guard companies are not allow to charge or do training UNLESS you are employed by that guard company (get it in writing).  If they do not give you work it was a scam, please file a complaint with the BSIS at www.bsis.ca.gov and save someone else.
